Facebook Account/Page Selection Not Loading

If the Facebook account or Page selection window does not load when connecting Osortoo, the issue usually comes from browser settings, missing permissions, or an expired Facebook session. You can follow the steps below to fix the problem.

1. Refresh your Facebook session

Your Facebook login may have expired.
Log out of Facebook manually, then log in again on facebook.com.

Return to Osortoo and try connecting again.

2. Remove and reconnect Osortoo from Facebook

Osortoo may not have the correct permissions.

To reset the connection:

  1. Go to facebook.com/settings
  2. Open Business Integrations
  3. Find Osortoo
  4. Remove it
  5. Return to Osortoo
  6. Connect again and accept all permissions

This step reloads the account and Page selection window.

3. Make sure you are an Admin of the Page

The Page selector only loads Pages where you have Admin access.
Editor or Moderator roles do not appear in the list.

Check your Page role:

  • Go to your Facebook Page
  • Open Settings → Page Roles
  • Verify that your role is Admin

4. Enable browser cookies

Facebook requires cookies to display the account selection window.

Make sure your browser allows:

  • third-party cookies
  • pop-ups for facebook.com
  • pop-ups for osortoo.com

If cookies are blocked, the Page selector will stay blank.

5. Disable browser extensions

Extensions such as:

  • ad blockers
  • privacy tools
  • tracking blockers
  • VPN extensions

can block the Facebook pop-up window.

Disable them temporarily or use an incognito/private window.

6. Try another browser

Some browsers cache Facebook login scripts aggressively.
Try connecting with one of the recommended browsers:

  • Chrome (best experience)
  • Firefox
  • Edge
  • Safari

If the Page selector loads in another browser, the issue comes from your original browser’s settings.

7. Check for Facebook security notifications

Facebook may pause third-party connections if it detects unusual activity.

Visit facebook.com and check for:

  • verification requests
  • identity checks
  • permission alerts

Complete any required steps before reconnecting.
