If the Facebook giveaway does not load after clicking “Confirm”, the issue usually comes from missing permissions, Page access problems, or browser restrictions. You can follow the steps below to fix the problem and complete your giveaway.
1. Your Facebook permissions may be incomplete
If one or more permissions were skipped during the Facebook login process, Osortoo cannot load the giveaway.
How to fix
- Go to facebook.com/settings
- Open Business Integrations
- Find Osortoo
- Remove it
- Return to Osortoo
- Log in again through Facebook
- Accept all requested permissions
This step refreshes the connection and solves most “Confirm” loading issues.
2. You may not be an Admin of the Facebook Page
Osortoo only loads giveaways for Pages where you have Admin access.
If you are not Admin, Facebook blocks the data needed for the draw.
How to check your role
On Facebook:
Page → Settings → Page Roles
Make sure your profile is Admin.
- Editor
- Moderator
- Advertiser
- Analyst
These roles are not enough.
3. You might have selected the wrong Facebook Page
Some users manage several Pages and choose the wrong one when logging in.
If the selected Page is not the one where the giveaway post exists, Osortoo cannot load it.
Fix
Reconnect through Facebook and select the correct Page during the permissions screen.
4. Your Facebook post may be restricted
Giveaway posts must be public and visible to everyone.
If restrictions are active, Osortoo will not load the giveaway after clicking Confirm.
Make sure the post has:
- no age restrictions
- no country restrictions
- no unpublished or scheduled settings
- public visibility
Private or restricted posts cannot load.
5. The post is too recent
New Facebook posts sometimes take a few minutes before they become available through the API.
If the post is new
Wait 2–5 minutes, then click Confirm again.
6. Your Facebook session may have expired
If you have been logged into Facebook for a long time, session data may be outdated.
Fix
- Log out of Facebook
- Close your browser
- Log back in on facebook.com
- Return to Osortoo and try again
7. Browser cookies or pop-ups are blocked
Facebook requires cookies and pop-ups for the confirmation process.
Make sure your browser allows:
- cookies
- third-party cookies
- pop-ups from facebook.com
- pop-ups from osortoo.com
Ad blockers or privacy extensions can also block the Confirm step.
Disable them temporarily or use an incognito window.
8. Try a different browser
If the Confirm button still does not load the giveaway:
- try Chrome
- try Firefox
- try Edge
- try Safari
Some browsers keep corrupted cached data that prevents the post from loading.
9. Facebook API delays or temporary outages
Facebook sometimes experiences temporary delays.
If everything is set correctly, wait a few minutes and try again.
