You can follow the steps below to fix the problem.
1. Your Facebook permissions may be incomplete
If one or more permissions were not granted during Facebook login, Osortoo cannot load the giveaway setup after the name step.
How to fix this
- Go to facebook.com/settings
- Open Business Integrations
- Find Osortoo
- Remove it
- Return to Osortoo and reconnect
- Accept all permissions requested
This refreshes your access and usually solves the issue instantly.
2. You may not have Admin rights on the Facebook Page
Osortoo only works with Facebook Pages where you are Admin.
If you are not Admin, the system cannot load the posts or proceed to the next step.
How to check your role
Facebook Page → Settings → Page Roles
Make sure your profile is listed as Admin.
Other roles such as Editor, Moderator or Analyst will block the process.
3. The wrong Facebook Page was selected
If you manage several Pages and select the wrong one during the Facebook login flow, Osortoo will not find the post you need and cannot move forward after naming the giveaway.
Fix
Reconnect with Facebook and select the Page where the giveaway post is published.
4. Browser pop-ups or cookies are blocked
If your browser blocks cookies or pop-ups, the next step will not load.
Enable:
- cookies
- third-party cookies
- pop-ups for facebook.com
- pop-ups for osortoo.com
Disabling extensions such as:
- ad blockers
- privacy shields
- VPN extensions
can also solve the issue.
Try an incognito window if unsure.
5. Your Facebook session expired
If your Facebook login session is outdated, the system cannot proceed.
Fix
- Log out of Facebook
- Close your browser
- Log back in on facebook.com
- Return to Osortoo and try again
6. Try another browser
If the issue persists, try:
- Chrome (recommended)
- Firefox
- Edge
- Safari
A fresh browser session often resolves step-loading problems.
7. Temporary Facebook API delays
Facebook sometimes responds slowly when retrieving Page data.
This can prevent Osortoo from loading the next step.
What to do
Wait 1–3 minutes and try again.
