Why can’t I log in to Facebook?

If you cannot log in to Facebook through Osortoo, the issue usually comes from permission settings, expired sessions, or browser restrictions. You can follow the steps below to identify and fix the problem.

1. Your Facebook session may have expired

Facebook automatically logs out inactive sessions.
Try logging out of Facebook manually, then log in again directly on facebook.com.

After that, return to Osortoo and try connecting again.

2. You did not grant all required permissions

Osortoo needs specific Facebook permissions to access your Pages and posts.
If a permission was skipped or removed, the login will fail.

To fix this:

  1. Go to facebook.com/settings
  2. Open Business Integrations
  3. Find Osortoo
  4. Remove it
  5. Return to Osortoo and reconnect
  6. Accept all requested permissions

3. You are not an admin of the Facebook Page

Osortoo only works with Pages where you have Admin rights.
Editor or Moderator roles are not enough.

Check your role on the Page:

  • Open your Facebook Page
  • Go to Settings → Page Roles
  • Make sure your profile is listed as Admin

4. You are using the wrong Facebook profile

Some users manage multiple profiles or business accounts.
Make sure you are logging in with the profile that actually manages the Page you want to use.
