Draw winner videos can be deleted automatically for several reasons related to storage limits, account activity, and giveaway management. Osortoo keeps videos available as long as possible, but certain conditions remove them from your account.
The points below explain every possible cause.
1. You deleted the giveaway project
Draw videos are stored inside each giveaway.
When you delete a project, the video is removed at the same time.
What happens
- the giveaway disappears
- the video disappears
- all participants and results disappear
Deleted projects cannot be restored.
2. You downgraded to the Free plan
Only paid plans store draw videos.
If your plan changes from paid to free, draw videos are removed automatically.
Why
Video storage is a premium feature.
When the plan changes, premium storage becomes unavailable.
3. Storage cleanup for inactive accounts
Osortoo may remove old videos from long-inactive accounts to optimize storage and performance.
Your giveaway results remain available, but the video file may no longer be stored.
How to avoid this
Download your videos and keep them locally if your account is inactive for long periods.
4. Browser or device-specific storage issues (local caching)
Some browsers only keep cached videos temporarily.
If the browser clears its cache, the video preview may disappear even though the draw result stays in Osortoo.
Fix
Open the giveaway again or re-run the draw to regenerate the video (paid plans only).
5. Server maintenance or corrupted files
In rare cases, server maintenance or file corruption can remove videos that cannot be read or restored.
Fix
Re-run the draw to generate a fresh video if the project is still active.
6. Giveaway was edited after the draw
Editing the giveaway or changing platforms after the draw can reset certain elements.
This can remove the associated video.
Common changes that trigger removal:
- re-importing comments
- applying new filters
- modifying the post source
Osortoo treats these actions as a new drawing environment.
7. You ran a new draw
When you run a new draw in the same project, the previous video may be replaced by the most recent one.
What remains
- the latest draw result
- the latest video
- logs for each draw
Some plans keep only one video per draw cycle.
