Billing cycle

Osortoo uses a subscription-based billing system. Your billing cycle depends on the plan you choose on the pricing page. The information below explains how renewals work, when payments are taken, and what happens if you upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

1. Monthly billing cycle

Monthly plans renew every 30 days from the date of your purchase.

Example

If you subscribe on March 10, your next renewal takes place on April 10.

What the monthly plan includes

  • access to all features listed for the chosen plan
  • unlimited use during the billing period
  • automatic renewal every 30 days unless you cancel

Your subscription remains active until you cancel or your payment fails.

2. Yearly billing cycle

Yearly plans renew once per year on the same date you subscribed.

Example

If you subscribe on June 5, your next renewal takes place on June 5 of the following year.

Benefits of yearly plans

  • lower cost compared to paying monthly
  • uninterrupted access for 12 months
  • one single payment per year

The yearly plan includes the same features as the monthly version, but at a reduced price.

3. Renewal timing

Renewals occur automatically at the end of your billing cycle.
The system charges the card on file:

  • immediately when the new cycle starts
  • without needing manual confirmation
  • based on your current plan

You receive a confirmation email after each payment.

4. What happens if payment fails

If the renewal payment does not go through:

  • your plan remains active temporarily
  • the system retries the payment
  • access may be limited if all retries fail
  • your account may revert to the Free plan if the payment remains unsuccessful

Updating your payment method usually solves the issue quickly.

5. Upgrading your plan

Upgrades take effect immediately.

What happens during an upgrade

  • you gain instant access to the new features
  • a prorated amount is applied
  • the billing cycle resets based on the new plan

You only pay the difference needed to activate the upgraded plan.

6. Downgrading your plan

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Your subscription stays active until your cycle ends.

Important

If you downgrade:

  • premium features remain available until the renewal date
  • your account changes to the lower plan on the next billing cycle

7. Canceling your subscription

You can cancel at any time.
When you cancel:

  • your plan stays active for the remainder of the billing cycle
  • your account switches to the Free plan once the cycle ends
  • you are not charged again after cancellation

Canceling does not delete your account or giveaways.

8. Checking your billing cycle

You can view your renewal date in your dashboard.

Steps

  1. Go to My Profile
  2. Click Billing
  3. View your renewal date, plan details, and payment history
