Time zones are important because that’s how we know what’s your local time and calibrate our tools accordingly. This is especially important for Contests because you set time and date on your contest and the countdown counts to zero and then announces the winners. We need your time zone to know exactly what’s your local time and how much time there is between your contest / giveaway and now.
